Meghan Markle went to cook for the homeless

The Duchess of Sussex cuts pumpkin pie for the homeless on Thanksgiving.

After Meghan Markle and Prince Harry left the social networks, news about their entertainment began to appear on the Archewell Foundation’s website. And it turns out that Thanksgiving, a popular holiday in the United States, the Duchess of Sussex spends in the kitchen preparing food for the homeless. The Daily Mail writes about it.

This is a popular application among celebrities and politicians. On Thanksgiving, celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November in the USA, they usually go to canteens that feed the homeless, work in the kitchen or serve cooked food.

Meghan Markle continued the tradition and opened a cafe for the poor straight from her $14 million luxury mansion in Montecito.

The Duchess of Sussex had previously helped the homeless in the kitchen at Thanksgiving 2020, but not in Vancouver.

In 2022, she went to the Women’s Center in Los Angeles to help feed 300 homeless women. She wore a modest green sweater and a black baseball cap, apparently to avoid being recognized. But a few days later, photos of Megan appeared on the Archewell Foundation’s website.

In a photo posted on the foundation’s website, Meghan, wearing a mask and gloves, helps distribute pumpkin pie slices.

Meghan is also likely to cook for her family, as she appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show last year and said, “I love to cook. So we’ll be home and relax.”

The headline explained that the Archewell Foundation team helped prepare a Thanksgiving dinner “for over 300 women at the Downtown Women’s Center (DWC) in Los Angeles.”

It also states that the DWC provides a wide range of resources to “remove barriers and end homelessness for all women, including female veterans and their families, women with serious physical and mental health problems, and survivors of domestic violence.”

Meghan had previously visited DWC to “offer support” and “cheer up the staff” after leaving royal duties in 2019.

Photos of Megan surfaced amid rumors that King Charles had invited his son and family to spend Christmas at Sandringham. After all, this will be the first Christmas without Queen Elizabeth. However, a source close to the king said it is “very unlikely that they will come.”

The Prince and Princess of Wales will stay at nearby Anmer Hall, a home given to them by the Queen.

Other members of the family are expected to join the king and queen consort on their way to church on Christmas morning.

This week, Kate Middleton and Prince William will travel to Boston, USA, but insiders doubt they’ll ever meet Prince Harry. Although the brothers are very close.
