A cup of coffee or tea in the morning will help you finally wake up and tune into your working mood.
Most people who wake up in the morning go to the kitchen and make themselves a cup of coffee and quickly adapt to the work wave. After doing some research, scientists came to the conclusion that there is a rational grain for this daily ritual, as described in a report published in the journal Physiology and Behavior.
Caffeine is one of the most consumed nutritional supplements in the world. Caffeinated beverages such as coffee or tea, caffeinated energy drinks and soft drinks are commonly consumed by young people to improve bodily functions such as increasing alertness, reducing sleepiness, and stimulating attention and arousal. Low to moderate doses of caffeine (20-400 mg/day) can improve health and increase motivation and energy to work without adverse behavioral effects.
The experiment involved 25 healthy men without bad habits from the University of Southeast Asia. The scientists behind the new study sought to “explain whether low doses of caffeine as a morning wake-up drink affect brain wave activity and cognitive function.” The results showed a reduction in alpha wave activity 30 minutes after ingestion of 50mg of caffeine. This is a type of brain activity associated with sleepiness. Improvements were also seen in working memory and cognitive function.
However, in order not to “overload” the body, people with cardiovascular diseases should not abuse coffee and strong tea.
Recall how spilled coffee affects the operation of tools.
