Tangerine pie is a good way to please the family with delicious pastries.
Chef Vladimir Yaroslavsky shared the original recipe for tangerine pie on his Instagram account.
“Have you ever fried tangerines? If you want something unusual, but simple and sweet, I recommend baking my pie. It turns out juicy and fragrant. For this it is better to take sour tangerines,” writes the cook.
Mandarin pie in a pan
Contents:
- 5-6 medium tangerines
- 20 g butter
- 30 g sugar
- ground cardamom or cinnamon to taste
For testing:
- 1 large egg (or 2 small)
- 50 g milk
- 50 g sugar
- 25 g vegetable oil
- 120 gr flour
- 5 g baking powder
- lemon peel or vanilla
How to cook:
- Take the sugar in a non-stick pan and add the butter to it. Mix with a spatula to caramel color.
- Peel the tangerines, cut them in half and remove the seeds. Place the cut side down on the tray.
- Sprinkle with spices.
- Immediately pour the prepared dough, in which all the ingredients are thoroughly mixed with a whisk. The consistency of the dough should be similar to sour cream.
- Cover with a lid and cook the pie over low heat until the dough is cooked.
- Check for readiness with a wooden skewer. Pay attention to the fire so that the cake is browned. Caramel color means the food is cooked.
- Turn the finished cake onto a plate, it can even be eaten hot.
