37-year-old Ukrainian singer Tina Karol reacted to the tragic death of Ukrainian Minister of Internal Affairs Denis Monastyrsky.
The artist, who knew the deceased politician personally, posted a black and white photo with Monastyrsky on his Instagram account and offered his condolences to his family.
“It is impossible to believe. Brave, ambitious, honest. He was highly respected by his colleagues and the military. Condolences to his family,” said the singer.
On January 18, 2023, a helicopter of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine crashed in Brovary, Kyiv region. On board were representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, including its head, Denis Monastyrsky. It is known that 14 people, including one child, have lost their lives at the moment. 25 people, 11 of them children, were injured.
The causes of the tragedy in the Kyiv region are not sought. However, it is known that a comprehensive investigation will be carried out. According to the SBU, causes of the helicopter crash could include violation of flight rules, technical malfunction of the helicopter or deliberate destruction of the vehicle.
