Robert Downey Jr has made his mark on Hollywood in many ways, and one of them is now on sale.
Oscar winner Robert Downey Jr., 57, stuck a piece of gum on his friend Jon Favreau’s star while taking a photo at the Hollywood Walk of Fame on February 13. A strange lot is now up for sale on eBay for as high as $55,000. The Daily Mail writes about it.
The description of the item posted on the online auction site reads: “Hello! I was here during an event where famous actor and producer Jon Favreau was inducted into the Hollywood Walk of Fame. During the event, Robert Downey Jr. Star has his own gum and probably left it there.”
The seller concluded the signature with the words: “I’m selling it as received and can be tested for DNA.”
The auction will end at 01:05 on Friday. No bids have been made so far, but interested buyers often wait until the last minute to submit their final bids.
By comparison, an Iron Man helmet signed by Robert and late MCU filmmaker Stan Lee sells for $8,998 on eBay.
