  • salt – 3 tablespoons;
  • sugar – 1 tablespoon;
  • bay leaf – 3-4 pcs.;
  • black pepper – 10-15 pcs.;

  • water – 1 liter.

Prepare the mackerel: scale it, cut off the fins and cut off the head. Divide the carcass into portions.

Prepare the brine: In a saucepan, mix water, salt, sugar, bay leaves and black pepper. Bring to a boil and cook on low heat for 5 minutes. Then add the vinegar and remove from the heat.
