Clooney is willing to show the house only to potential wealthy buyers. He does not want any publicity or exaggeration in the press.
According to Page Six, 62-year-old American actor and entrepreneur George Clooney decided to sell his luxury mansion on the shores of Lake Como in Northern Italy for 100 million euros ($107 million). He purchased the property, known as Villa Oleandra, from the Heinz family in 2002 for $10 million.
Rumors that the actor wanted to sell the villa first emerged in 2010. Later, Clooney was considering getting rid of the property because of the paparazzi who were literally registered in the house. Talks resumed in 2015, less than a year after Clooney got married. Now rumor has it that the actor’s family is ready to bid farewell to the house for good.
