46-year-old American rapper Kanye West wanted to remove the windows and electricity of his $57 million house in Malibu and turn it into a “1910s bomb shelter”. TMZ writes about it.
West was sued by former redevelopment project manager Tony Saxon, who claimed he was fired after he “expressed concerns about the extreme dangers of such actions.”

He was hired for the project in September 2021 and worked 16-hour days at the Tadao Ando-designed beach house, according to Saxon’s lawsuit filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court.
The man claims he slept on the floor of the house because he worked as a “project manager, doorman and 24-hour security” on the property.

Saxon also claims the controversial rapper only paid him for a week’s work and ignored all of his concerns until he was fired in November 2021 after he refused to cut the windows and electricity to the house.
He says the musician then threatened him and told him that he would be seen as an “enemy” if the West did not comply with his wishes.
“If you don’t do what I say, you won’t work for me, I won’t be your friend anymore and you’ll only see me on TV,” Kanye told Saxon. However, he was fired by saying he didn’t watch television.
In the lawsuit, Saxon said the rapper’s vision for the house was to build a “1910s-era bomb shelter” and remove the marble bathrooms, as well as removing windows, plumbing and electricity. He specifically wanted to replace the stairs with slides.
Saxon is now suing Kim Kardashian’s ex-husband for more than $1 million in unpaid wages and damages for a series of labor law violations.
