Olga Kuzmenko, mother of the famous Ukrainian singer Andrei Kuzmenko, known under the pseudonym Kuzma Scriabin, died at the age of 76. The woman’s death was reported on the page of the Kuzma Scriabin Charity Foundation.

Let us recall that the artist’s mother, Olga Kuzmenko, is a writer and teacher. While still studying at the institute, he traveled to the villages with a tape recorder in his hand, recorded folk songs and proverbs, and created a children’s group in which children sang folk and ritual songs. She worked as a piano teacher at a music school.
In 2012, Andrei Kuzmenko wrote the song “Mother”, dedicated to his mother.
After her son’s death in 2015, a psychologist advised her to write down her experiences in a notebook. These notes later became a book dedicated to his son. “My beloved bird. My mother’s book” was published in 2015.
Later, Olga Kuzmenko wrote two more books: “Skriyabin Group and Friends on the Stage” (2016), “Lullaby for Andryusha” (2018).
He last gave a long interview in 2022 and admitted that he did not want the investigation into his son’s death to be reopened. After all, he doesn’t know who is responsible for the accident.
“I don’t want to judge him now. I don’t know who he is. They could blame it on someone else, they could convict the wrong person. I wish they had at least a clue but there were no clues and I can’t blame anyone for that. But people are never wrong and about a million people claim it wasn’t just an accident “It does,” he shared.
