What happened on this day?
Today the Orthodox Church honors the memory of St. Philip. He was an apostle, the disciples of Jesus Christ chose him as their priest. During the persecution of Christians, Philip left Jerusalem and went to preach. He talked about Christ, but also performed miracles and healed the sick, thanks to which many pagans believed in God.
