American actor George Clooney, 62, admitted that he did not live up to the high standards of Amal Clooney, 45, when they got married and joked about it in his latest interview with Page Six.
“Yes and still [так думаю]”” Clooney said with a smile.
The Ocean’s Eleven star added that “everyone would say the same thing.”
George married Amal Alamuddin in September 2014 and the couple welcomed twins Ella and Alexander in 2017. A mutual friend introduced the couple in the spring of 2013.
The Hollywood actor’s wife is an experienced lawyer who has held various positions in the UK government and the UN. Amal is also an adjunct professor of law at Columbia Law School.
The famous couple founded the human rights organization Clooney Justice Foundation together in 2016. The actor has repeatedly condemned Russia’s war crimes on Ukrainian territory. The couple’s son also drew a picture of a prison for the President of the Russian Federation.
George’s latest film, Boys in the Boat, is based on the true story of the US rowing team that participated and won the Berlin Olympics in 1936.
