How to make Cinnabon buns according to the classic recipe?

Snail buns, or cinnabons, are a classic American pastry. And they are easy to prepare at home.

The name of the famous cinnamon rolls comes from Cinnamon, the English name for cinnamon. And they are very easy to prepare. The main thing is to make them according to the recipe and choose delicious ingredients.

Classic Cinnabon donuts are made from yeast dough. Then they finish the baked goods with a filling of sugar, cinnamon, butter and cream cheese. The recipe was shared on the Yasensvit website.

  • fresh yeast – 20 g;
  • milk – 250 ml;
  • eggs -2 pieces;
  • sugar – 85 g;
  • butter – 70 g;
  • flour – 600 g;
  • salt – 5 g;
  • vegetable oil (to lubricate the container);
  • sugar (for filling) – 125 g;
  • cinnamon (for filling) – 10 g;
  • butter (for filling) – 50 g;
  • ricotta (mascarpone) for cream – 175 g;
  • milk (for cream) – 50 g;
  • powdered sugar for icing – 50 gr.

Let’s start with testing. In a separate bowl, mix the yeast, a teaspoon of sugar and warm milk. Leave it in a warm place for about 20 minutes.

Beat the eggs with the sugar separately until the sugar dissolves completely.

In another pot, heat the oil but do not boil. Combine the eggs with the sugar, the milk with the yeast and the melted butter. Mix slowly and carefully.

Divide the pre-sifted flour into two parts. Put a pinch of salt in one of them and add some to the liquid part, stirring constantly. When the first portion of flour is completely dissolved, add another according to the same principle.

Mix the dough. Transfer the dough to a separate bowl greased with vegetable oil, cover it with paper towels or film and let it rise for about an hour.

Prepare the filling: mix sugar and cinnamon. Roll out the dough into a large rectangle, about 0.6 cm thick, spread it with butter and sprinkle sugar and cinnamon on it.

Roll the dough along its long edge.

Cut the finished roll into equal pieces 3 to 5 cm wide.

Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Leave some space between the pieces. Cover the baking tray with a towel and leave in a warm place for another 35 minutes.

Bake the buns in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Watch the crust to determine when it is done.

Let it cool while you prepare the filling. In a deep bowl, mix ricotta or mascarpone or another buttercream with milk and powdered sugar. You can add vanilla. Whisk until smooth.

Brush the filling onto the still warm cinnamon cupcakes.

You can also make cream from condensed milk.

Mix 2 eggs with 250 grams of raw condensed milk and put on low heat. Bring to a boil but do not boil. Don’t forget to stir vigorously while cooking. Let the cream cool slightly before pouring it over the cinnamon sticks.

You can also make delicious bread with olives.
