55-year-old Danish supermodel Helena Christensen showed that she has not changed at all since those years when she conquered the catwalks. She traditionally wore a luxurious, vintage dress to the Vanity Fair party held in honor of the Oscars. Page Six writes about it.
The supermodel revealed that the elegant, monochrome, one-shoulder couture dress she wore to the after-party was a Dior runway dress created for her by British designer John Galliano in the 1990s.
Christensen stated that she wore this dress for the first time on the catwalk in 1996 and said, “I am very happy to be able to wear one of my favorite dresses again.”
The dress suits the supermodel incredibly well, just like it did 30 years ago. But Helena admitted she made one small change: “The corset wasn’t quite fastened but that will be my little secret.”
Interestingly, the dress Christensen wore on the red carpet is not unique. It can still be purchased at vintage stores for $10,985.
