Prince Albert of Monaco pampers Charlene to keep their marriage intact – media

The prince’s former accountant said that Charlene spent money, and her husband paid all the bills for the sake of “peace in the family.” Albert has been described as a person who avoids confrontation.

Prince Albert of Monaco has been described in recent tabloid reports as a “weak” leader who “uses money to buy peace in the family.” Albert’s former accountant, Claude Palmero, who managed his accounts for more than 20 years, explained the financial affairs of the prince and his wife Charlene. The Daily Mail writes about this.

The file, which revealed the “secret notebooks” of Claude Palmero, who was in charge of the palace’s finances for more than twenty years and Prince Albert’s confidant, revealed surprising claims about the financial situation of the prince family.

Claude was fired last summer. And from that moment on, scandalous details about the lives of Albert and Charlene were made public.

Records shared by French newspaper Le Monde detail Charlene’s spending habits. So around £600,000 was spent on the christening of their children, twins Jacques and Gabriella, bringing their expenses to more than £1 million a year.

Now, speaking to Tatler, one of the journalists who published the story said that Charlene had a “mad desire to spend money” and that her husband gave her money to keep the peace in the family.

Journalists in France and Monaco said Prince Albert, 65, was a “weak man” who disliked conflict. And therefore he is ready to pay all his wife’s expenses.

As Claude reported, Charlene is recruiting illegal immigrants. An employee from the Philippines worked illegally in the prince’s household for more than five years, despite only having a one-month tourist visa. And he was paid 100 euros a day. Albert and Charlene’s children’s nannies were also working illegally.

“Not only are they here illegally, but they also entered with fake passports,” Palmero said.

Le Monde’s investigative reporter Gerard Davet said: “Prince Albert says yes to everything. Charlene is very lonely in the palace, so her best friend is probably her husband’s money.”

He added that the only person who interfered with Charlene’s expenses was Claude Palmero, who filed several lawsuits against Albert after he was fired last year. Claude is seeking damages for defamation and unfair dismissal.

After Palmero was escorted from his office by a palace colonel and tendered his resignation, the prince publicly accused his trusted ally of more than 20 years of corruption, which Palmero vehemently denied.

Elsewhere in the interview, Davé reveals that Charlene and her daughter-in-law, Princess Caroline, “are not friends.”

Palmero’s records also allege that Albert spent millions each year from his secret French bank account to pay off his ex-lovers and illegitimate children. Jasmine Grimaldi, 31, and Alexandre Coste-Grimaldi, 20, each receive £344,000 a year in benefits.

Let’s remember this before Focus He wrote that Princess Charlene spent more money on clothes than any other European queen last year.
