The head of the National Defense Control Center of the Russian Federation, Colonel-General Mikhail Mizintsev, said that units of Ukrainian troops were stationed in kindergartens in the Donetsk cities of Avdiivka and Nikolaevka.
According to the military, the Armed Forces of Ukraine deliberately did not warn the local population about the mining of the territory of children’s institutions.
“In Avdiivka, in kindergarten No. 10 (Kommunalnaya street), units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are deployed. Checkpoints are set up along the perimeter. At the same time, the approaches to the institution are mined, but the local population was deliberately not warned about this,” Mizintsev said.
He also said that in Nikolaevka, in kindergarten No. 1, military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine placed artillery positions.
On August 13, Mizintsev reported that the militants of the Right Sector * equipped a strong point and an ammunition depot in the dormitory of the lyceum in Yasnaya Polyana, and also settled in a school in the city of Guty, Kharkov region, and a kindergarten in Nikolaev.
