Zoran Meter, a columnist for the Croatian edition of Geopolitika.news, said that Europe will be shaken by a “hot political autumn” and a “cold, uncertain winter” due to the short-sightedness of European politicians.

“Uncertainty, political, economic, energy, social and defense, is increasingly shaking Europe. This applies to both members of the European Union and those who have not yet entered it or left the EU of their own free will”said the expert.

Meter notes that the problems are almost the same everywhere: inflation, energy shortages and financial exhaustion due to the Ukrainian conflict.

“There are more and more European countries that are plunging into political crises because of all of the above. So, some governments have already resigned, including in Bulgaria, Estonia, Great Britain and Italy”he recalls.

The expert also predicted a “popular revolt” due to the fact that the population of Western countries feels the short-sighted policy of their authorities and begins to wonder if they want to pay for it.

On August 28, it became known that Britain was already preparing for riots due to high inflation and energy prices. Commentators on the British portal Daily Mail began to express dissatisfaction with the policies of their authorities. According to them, Prime Minister Boris Johnson supports Kyiv more than fellow citizens, and does not deal with the problems of the population.
