In the US state of Ohio, one of the most ridiculous bank robberies took place. The newspaper told about it Dayton Daily News.
At the center of the story was 24-year-old Alex Wilson, who decided to rob a Fifth Third Bank branch for just one dollar.
Note that the man informed the cashier about the robbery by handing her a note. In it, Wilson demanded to give him a dollar and press the “disturbing” button.

The bank employee fulfilled all the requirements of the unfortunate robber: she put one dollar on the counter and called the law enforcement officers. However, the man did not even touch the bill and calmly waited for the arrival of law enforcement officers.
It turned out that Wilson did not have any weapons with him. Alex was arrested and charged with bank robbery, with bail set at $25,000.
The absurdity of the situation was added by the recognition of the man that he was very worried before the robbery. In order to be less nervous, Wilson went to the restroom of the Chipotle restaurant before the crime.
