“The situation in the Federal District is under control. We will resume work in a few hours. What happened will be investigated properly. Criminals will continue to be identified and punished.”he said.

On the eve of the protests of supporters of the former head of state Jair Bolsonaro in the capital of Brazil escalated into riots.

Participants demanding the resignation of President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva seized the country’s parliament building and also destroyed the presidential palace. The building of the Supreme Court was also under the control of the protesters.

It was reported that during the beginning of the riots, Lulu da Silva was evacuated to a safe area of ​​​​the capital, but then completely taken out of the city. The leader himself said that there was no evacuation, since he was in Sao Paulo at the time the unrest began. Later, da Silva came to Brasilia.

The protests have now been crushed. More than 400 rioters were reportedly detained and 300 arrested.
