According to journalists, an ominous letter to a former Russian intelligence officer indicated London’s Putney Vale crematorium as the return address.
Boris Karpichkov, a former FSB intelligence officer who fled to the UK, is now forced to fear for his life after receiving bullets and death threats in an envelope. Reported by The Mirror.
The ominous letter to the former Russian intelligence officer listed the Putney Vale crematorium in London as the return address.
“Die you bastard. You will die soon, writhing in terrible agony,” the letter began.
Karpichkov said that neither the British police nor MI5 were protecting him.
“My family and I need a safe haven more than ever. But they’re not going to spend money to provide it.”
“My only defense now is my own intelligence and anti-surveillance skills,” said the former intelligence officer.
The fleeing Karpichkov is one of many opponents of Russian President Putin, who has to consider his personal safety due to possible revenge on the Kremlin head.
The letter was signed under a code name that the intelligence officer used for one of the agents and only known to the FSB.
The letter mentions “olive tree”, which means bullet in slang.
The letter stated, “You will have the same olive tree on your forehead – right between your eyes. The British police and intelligence services will not protect you. We have reliable contacts everywhere.”
Recall that the SBU arrested a Russian agent who helped prepare a missile attack on the Russian Federation in the Odessa region. One of the officials, Izmail, at the instruction of curators from the Russian Federation, collected data on Ukrainian military and infrastructure facilities in the region.
Previously Focus On January 19, he reported that the European Parliament voted for a “Putin court”, but there were some nuances. According to European parliamentarians, the top leaders of the Russian Federation and Belarus should take responsibility for the war that started in Ukraine. However, experts point out that Putin may be “untouchable” due to international immunity.
