The striker was able to explode and become a regular piece at the behest of Miguel “Piojo” Herrera, leaving some quality individual stats behind. He played 18 games adding 1159 minutes and scoring three goals. In the Open Tournament of the same year, he managed to equal their number, but his participation was reduced to only 452 minutes in 10 games.
