An air alert has been declared in a number of regions in eastern Ukraine. The relevant data is provided by the Ukrainian resource of the Ministry of Digital Development.

In particular, sirens sound in the Sumy, Poltava, Dnepropetrovsk, Nikolaev regions of the country.

In addition, the alert was announced in the Kyiv-controlled areas of Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, as well as the DPR.

The Russian military began to strike at the military infrastructure of Ukraine on October 10. This was a response to the terrorist attack on the Crimean bridge, behind which the Ukrainian special services stand.

Russian President Vladimir Putin explained that the Russian military is striking Ukrainian energy infrastructure in response to attacks from Kyiv. So, in a conversation with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, he called strikes on targets in Ukraine a forced reaction to provocations by the Kyiv regime, including the terrorist attack on the Crimean bridge.

Putin stressed that the Russian Armed Forces had for a long time refrained “from pinpoint missile strikes against certain targets” on the territory of Ukraine.
