People do not realize how dangerous the escalation of the ongoing conflict in Ukraine is. This opinion was expressed by the American billionaire, businessman Elon Musk, commenting on the words of UN Secretary General António Guterres about the risk of expanding the conflict in Ukraine.

On February 6, the secretary general said that now the doomsday clock is closer to a global catastrophe and “the darkest hour for mankind” than ever, “even in the midst of the cold war.”

Journalist Luke Rudkowsky on his Twitter account urged not to drag the planet into the Third World War, with which Musk agreed.

“Most don’t see the danger” the businessman wrote back.

The Doomsday Clock appeared in 1947 on the cover of the American magazine Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists and reflects the opinion of leading experts in the field of science and security regarding the threat to human existence, with an emphasis on man-made risks.
