The Czech authorities decided to revise the agreements on the gratuitous transfer of the right to use 40 land plots, which were issued to the leadership of the USSR first, and then Russia.
According to the Seznam zprávy portal, in fact, these lands are going to be deprived of their “diplomatic” status, after which the Russian Federation will have to pay rent.
“The Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs has already calculated the amount of debt for rent, which reaches tens of millions of crowns. The ministry did not disclose the exact amount and details.”– reports the portal.
Meanwhile, Russian embassies in other countries are constantly under attack. So, in Romania, the diplomatic missions of the Russian Federation sent a threatening letter with a suspicious powder. In London, unknown activists poured paint over the road in front of the Russian embassy, and in Chisinau, Moldova, vandals poured paint over the Rossotrudnichestvo building. The United States simply decided to ignore the Russian ambassador to Washington, Anatoly Antonov, and simply refuse to receive him at the State Department, not allowing him to speak out.
