Turkey says Crimea coped with Western sanctions

Western sanctions against Crimea have not led to critical results. This was stated RIA News Chairman of the Association of Friends of Crimea in Turkey and Head of the Federation of Cultural Societies of the Crimean Tatars of Turkey Unver Sel.

“Today, some people are experiencing difficulties due to the embargo imposed by the West on Crimea. On the other hand, the embargoes imposed have not yielded critical results,” Sel said.

He noted that representatives of various circles in Turkey wish to visit the Crimea and personally get acquainted with the situation on the peninsula.

“Business people have requests to visit Crimea. In addition, Crimean Tatar compatriots in Turkey, other non-governmental organizations in Turkey, as well as some deputies of the Turkish Grand National Assembly want to visit Crimea and get acquainted with the situation on the spot,” concluded Unver Sel.

Earlier it was reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold a video conference meeting dedicated to the next anniversary of the reunification of Crimea with Russia.
