Xi Jinping says hegemonism is bad for the world

Various security challenges are growing in the world, hegemonism, despotism and bullying are causing serious harm to the planet. The corresponding statement was made by Chinese President Xi Jinping in an article for “Russian newspaper“.

“Profound changes are taking place in the modern world. Peace, development, cooperation and win-win is an unstoppable historical trend. Multipolarity, economic globalization and democratization of international relations are an irreversible trend“, he stressed.

At the same time, Xi Jinping noted the harm of hegemonism and despotism for the whole world. He did not name the states that resort to such methods.

The President of China stressed that the world economy has received a powerful blow and it needs to go a long way to restore it.

“The international community is sounding great alarm, more than ever they need ways out of the crisis“, he concluded.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the fueling of the conflict in Ukraine is another example of how the West is trying to maintain its global dominance.
