The American company SpaceX plans to make the first launch into orbit of the prototype Starship spacecraft on Thursday. It was supposed to take place on Monday, but was canceled for technical reasons.

Presumably, the launch will take place between 16:28 and 17:30 Moscow time, TASS reports.

The reason for Monday’s cancellation was a technical problem in the rocket’s fuel system.

Earlier, Elon Musk said that he did not believe in the success of the Starship test tests. He noted that the most important design problem is the engines.

The company successfully launched a Falcon 9 rocket in March. With its help, 52 satellites of the Starlink system were launched into Earth orbit to connect to the free Internet. SpaceX plans to have 12,000 such satellites around the planet by 2026.
