Russian forces captured three more quarters of Artemovsk

Russian fighters were able to capture three more quarters in the northern, central and southern parts of Artemovsk. This was stated in the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

“In the Donetsk direction, as a result of active operations, assault detachments captured three quarters in the northern, central and southern parts of the city of Artemovsk,” – said in the department.

As the official representative of the Ministry of Defense, Igor Konashenkov, noted, the fighters stormed Artemovsk with the support of the Airborne Forces and the Southern Group of Forces. They also stopped the attempts of the militants to counterattack from the flank.

Also, Russian units liquidated in the area of ​​​​Chasov Yar and Konstantinovka detachments of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which were advanced for a counterattack.

On April 17, it became known that Russian forces had captured two quarters in the northwest and in the center of Artemovsk.
