The collective West is planning a series of provocations to destabilize the situation in the CIS countries. This statement was made by the Secretary General of the Commonwealth, Sergei Lebedev.
“Unfortunately, there is such data. Moreover, these attempts to destabilize the situation in the Commonwealth countries are obvious and are not hidden,” – said Lebedev, answering a question from TASS.
He recalled that the President of the Republic Alexander Lukashenko had repeatedly warned about the dangerous concentration of armed forces on the border with Belarus. As Lebedev noted, if earlier the Belarusian opposition spoke about the legal coming to power in Minsk, the situation has changed.
“Now they are already talking about a possible armed seizure of power and the involvement in this of those battalions, units that are now fighting on the territory of Ukraine, the so-called battalion named after Kastus Kalinouski, some others”Lebedev said.
Lebedev said earlier that the recent visits of US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken testify to the desire to destroy the CIS and “separate” the countries from Russia.
