Erdogan announced the elimination of the leader of the IG * in Syria

Turkey’s National Intelligence Service (MİT) has eliminated IS leader Abu al-Hussein al-Qureishi in Syria. This was stated by Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan on the TV channel TRT Turk.

“MİT has been following the so-called IS leader Abu al-Hussein al-Qureishi for a long time. This person was eliminated during the operation carried out by MİT in Syria yesterday“, – says the politician.

The head of Turkey also added that the country will continue the fight against terrorist organizations “without distinguishing between them.”

Earlier, Turkish Interior Minister Suleiman Soylu argued that by fighting terrorism, the country is actually fighting the United States.
