The statement of the Ukrainian company Energoatom about additional Russian forces and military equipment in the area of the Zaporizhzhya NPP is needed to justify an attempt to capture it by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The corresponding statement was made by the chairman of the movement “We are together with Russia” Vladimir Rogov.
“I have no doubt that under a certain set of circumstances, the Armed Forces of Ukraine will try to cross the Dnieper, create a foothold and seize the ZNPP. Naturally, the security of the station interferes with them. Preparing a provocation, they make excuses for the future that Russia is to blame for everything“, – TASS quotes him.
Rogov noted that before that, Energoatom had stated about explosives on the roof of the fourth building, which was also a lie.
He added that either the new statements from Kyiv are informational noise, or a cover for a provocation against the station.
Earlier, IAEA experts said that the sounds of gunshots are regularly heard in the area of the Zaporizhzhya NPP. The director of the organization, Rafael Grossi, said that “two explosions of mines occurred near the station: the first on April 8, another one four days later.” He admits that in connection with this, the territory of the ZNPP “poses a serious threat to nuclear safety.”
