Former NBCUniversal executive Linda Iaccarino has reacted for the first time to the news of her appointment as Twitter’s new CEO.

“Thanks Elon Musk! I have long been inspired by your vision of creating a brighter future. I’m thrilled to help bring this vision to Twitter and change this business together.“, she wrote on Twitter.

Up to this point, Iaccarino has not commented on Twitter in any way.

Previously, Musk explained the rationale behind the appointment of Linda Iaccarino as the new CEO of Twitter.

According to him, such a move will allow him to devote more time to Tesla.

Musk himself plans to take over as executive chairman and CTO of Twitter.
