Minus 200 thousand. Do the Russians know the losses of the Russian Armed Forces at the front and how it affects them, – expert

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the invaders lost 200,000 personnel at the front, but in Russia itself such figures were not disclosed. Does the population of the aggressor country know the real statistics on the war and who is expected to replenish the resources of the RF Armed Forces in the next wave of mobilization?

On May 17, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the Russian Armed Forces lost 200,000, especially 200,590 personnel at the front. Military-political observer of the Information Resistance group Oleksandr Kovalenko, Focuswhat such statistics say and how the aggressor country will restore its resource for combat operations.

Russian casualties at the front: not a qualified army

According to Oleksandr Kovalenko, the daily losses of the Russians at the front increased sharply when they began to send everyone, not professional soldiers, to the war against Ukraine, one after the other.

“This became especially evident last autumn, from October to November. This trend is due to the critical lack of human resources of the RF Armed Forces, so the so-called partial mobilization began in the offensive country, since then the professionalism is specialist, the Russian army has dramatically improved. it fell like that,’ he says.

This thesis is confirmed by the data of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. For example, a report dated August 15 last year said that Russia was losing 200 people a day, a month later – on September 15 – the situation repeated itself, minus 200 invaders. After the declaration of partial mobilization on October 15, the losses of the Russians doubled – 400 people. Moreover: On November 15, the Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated 710 invaders. On November 9, there was a record overall – minus 780 Russians per day.

Now Russia is losing about 500-700 test soldiers every day. In fact, as Kovalenko emphasized, these are people who go to the front without any preparation or with minimal training.

The expert adds that another point that plays an important role is the technical component.

“In March 2022, the invaders lost about 4,000 personnel. [за весь месяц]About 900 Russian medium and light armored vehicles were destroyed in the same month. At the same time, the number of occupiers liquidated in January 2023 reached 21.7 thousand people. [за месяц]In the same period, approximately 300 medium and light armored vehicles were destroyed. This directly demonstrates how dependent the human component is on the full equipment supply,” explains the source. Focus.

Kovalenko states that at the moment Russia is experiencing a serious shortage of military equipment. This affects the losses of the invaders on the front.

Who will be mobilized in the Russian Federation from now on?

Kovalenko is confident that even such heavy losses will not force the leadership of the Russian Federation to launch an open general mobilization.

“They’re not doing it because they’re too scared. Open mobilization will be an indication that something is not going according to plan,” he comments.

The Kremlin is trying to adapt to the situation and involve different people in the war. Now Russia began to actively recruit immigrants. British intelligence reports that they are looking for people in mosques and immigration centers for this. In addition, the expert continues that Russian conscripts were forced to sign contacts, which made it possible to send them to war in Ukraine.

If we talk about the mobilization of the population in the occupied territories, then Kovalenko advises in this matter to distinguish the so-called “LPR” and “DPR”, that is, the situation in the Luhansk and Donetsk regions. Under the control of the Russians since 2014, from the Kherson or Zaporozhye regions.

“If we are talking about the territory occupied by the Russians in 2022, there are great risks for the invaders, because there is an underground, there is a partisan movement,” explains the representative of the Information Resistance.

This means that if the invaders wanted to summon the Ukrainians, they could directly arm the partisans who used these weapons against them. Kovalenko states that they understand this and do not want to create such opportunities.

What do people in Russia know about their own losses?

The offensive country’s military leadership is expected to remain silent on the number of missing personnel. Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu last brought up this issue in September last year. Then, in an interview with Russia 24 TV channel, the official said that 5,937 Russian soldiers were killed in the war in Ukraine. And even with such figures, the offensive country’s media wrote that “the conflict in Ukraine has become the most significant in terms of casualties since the Afghan war.”

But the Russians are clearly dissatisfied with the numbers Shoigu has voiced. If you type “Russia’s losses in the NWO” in Google, the search engine will give a complete list of similar popular queries.

And it’s no surprise that Google offers a link to such questions specifically to the Ukrainian media. That is why the population of the occupying country has every opportunity to read about the real losses of the RF Armed Forces at the front.

Kovalenko is also sure that the citizens of Russia are aware of the extent of the purge of the invaders. He compares this to 2014, when it became clear that Moscow was sending troops to Ukraine, but this information was officially hidden.

“Everyone understood very well what was happening, but the Russians even enjoyed it – they could not accept it, they kept saying “it will come”.

And now the population of the Russian Federation is aware of how many Russian armies have already been destroyed, although no one speaks about it openly.

“But what can this give us? Anyway, it won’t cause any large-scale protest movement, it won’t force them to go to rallies. It won’t happen,” summarizes the expert.

Recall that the commander of the Tavria operational-strategic unit grouping, Brigadier General Alexander Tarnavsky, said on the Telegram channel on May 15 that the invaders suffered huge losses in the battle, including in the southern direction.
