Putin: Russia retains its status as one of the leaders in the arms market

Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Russia confidently retains its status as one of the leaders in the global arms market. The head of state announced this in his congratulations to labor collectives and veterans on the 70th anniversary of the creation of a system of state administration of military-technical cooperation with foreign states.

“Russia confidently retains its status as one of the leaders in the world arms and military equipment market,” – specified in the text of the congratulatory telegram posted on the Kremlin portal.

Earlier in the same congratulations, the president noted that Russia, despite the unprecedented pressure of sanctions and unfair competition from the United States, continues to successfully export significant volumes of weapons.
