San Francisco police looking for gunman who injured 9 people in ‘targeted’ mass shooting

San Francisco Police Department (SFPD) is investigating and looking for clues that lead to the capture of the shooter who shot nine people as a result of mass shooting it happened Friday night at La Misión.

San Francisco police spokeswoman Eva Laokwansatitai said all the victims were taken to the hospital and are expected to survive.

Laokwansatitaya did not confirm that the shooting came from a moving vehicle, but said thatIt was an “isolated and targeted incident”. He did not say if police are looking for multiple suspects.

IN tweet, SFPD deputy chief Raj Vaswani said the victims were mostly men in their 20s, but included a 19-year-old woman and two 30-year-old men; the age and sex of one victim have not been confirmed. Said their injuries ranged from minor to life-threatening.

On Saturday, the local police did not provide any details. There is no word on possible suspects or arrests.

San Francisco Mayor London Breed spoke about the shooting at another event in the city on Saturday.

“Unfortunately, we know that nine people were shot. Luckily, none of them were killed in the drive-by shooting and the police are investigating and doing their best to bring the suspected individuals or people to justice,” Breed said, according to KNTV.

Neighbors are still shocked by the shooting.

This was stated by San Francisco Police Chief Bill Scott. tweet that “such violence on our streets is unacceptable.” He added that the SFPD will have a visible police presence in La Mission while the search for suspects continues.
