In Kyiv, they want to erect a monument to the shark that ate the Russian in Egypt

Signatures in support of a petition for the creation of a monument to the shark that bit a Russian in Hurghada, Egypt, are being collected in Ukraine. The document appeared on the website of the Kyiv city administration.

The initiative behind the authorship of a certain Miroslav Latyk involves the installation of a monument-fountain in the form of a sea predator in the historical center of the Ukrainian capital. Allegedly, the monument is supposed to perpetuate “the shark – the fighter against the Russians.”

The petition has now been signed by 756 people. For its consideration by the city administration, it is necessary to collect six thousand signatures.

We will remind, earlier it became known that Egyptian scientists are mummifying the killer shark itself.

A shark attack on a man occurred on June 8 off the coast of Hurghada. The beach where the tragedy occurred belongs to the Dream Beach Hotel. The Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Egypt reported that the deceased was a 23-year-old Russian.

One of the eyewitnesses of the tragedy said that everything happened very quickly. Rescuers quickly began to bring everyone to the coast. The girl of the deceased was also in the water, they managed to save her.

The father of a Russian man who was eaten by a shark on a beach in Hurghada told us that everything happened in a matter of seconds.
