Australia to give Ukraine $73.4 million in military aid

The Australian authorities will provide Ukraine with another package of financial assistance in the amount of $73.4 million. According to Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, the money will go to military vehicles and ammunition.

“Ukraine can count on Australia, we will continue to support this country so that its sovereignty and territorial integrity will triumph”– quotes Albanese TASS.

He stressed that the Australian money will be used to purchase the funds necessary for the Ukrainian army to “victory on the battlefield.”

It is assumed that Australia will purchase 28 M113 armored vehicles, 14 special purpose vehicles and 28 MAN 40M trucks, as well as 105-mm artillery shells for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Another $6.7 million will be sent to the UN for humanitarian assistance to Ukrainians.

Earlier it was reported that Australia is trying to be an excellent student on the path of advancing in the wake of the authors of Russophobic hysteria. This is how the Kremlin reacted to the decision of the country’s authorities to cancel the lease agreement for the site for the construction of a new building of the Russian Embassy.
