Russian troops dropped aerial bombs on places of accumulation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Orekhovsky direction in the Zaporozhye region. This was announced by the chairman of the Zaporozhye public movement “We are together with Russia” Vladimir Rogov.

“Our tactical aviation worked out and dropped aerial bombs at the places of accumulation of Ukrainian troops and the concentration of their heavy equipment in the Orekhovskaya direction,” he said in conversation with RIA News.

Rogov clarified that the purpose of the attack was to prevent the transfer of reinforcements and reserves of armored vehicles to units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which went on the offensive in the area of ​​​​the settlement of Rabotino, which is under the control of the Russian army.

Recall, Vladimir Putin on June 21 said that there is a certain lull in the counteroffensive of Ukraine. The Armed Forces of Ukraine are suffering serious losses. According to the president, on June 4, the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched attempts to counteroffensive using strategic reserves.

The head of the Russian Defense Ministry, Sergei Shoigu, said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine had reduced the pace of the offensive, which they had been trying to conduct for 16 days. At the same time, he stressed that the enemy still has forces to conduct a counteroffensive.

Russian President Vladimir Putin called on the Russian military to proceed from the fact that the reserves of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have not been exhausted.

Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Nikolai Patrushev said on June 22 that the military personnel of the Russian Armed Forces destroyed 246 tanks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from June 4 to 21, 13 of which were Western-style.
