Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that there were no serious proposals from the West to resolve the Ukrainian crisis.

“For many months either Scholz or Macron have been threateningly saying “I’m going to call Putin.” Many times. But if you want to call, then take it and call. Why announce this into a microphone?“, said the minister.

According to him, the behavior of French leader Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz is more like they want to show off in front of voters with their statements, showing how principled they are.

There were no serious offers at all from anyone. I mean WestLavrov said.

According to him, as soon as African countries came up with proposals, they were immediately accepted in Moscow, communication was also carried out with Brazilian colleagues who sent their representatives to the Russian Federation.
