In the event of the capture of the Crimean peninsula, Kyiv plans to expel up to 800 thousand Russians. This was stated by the “permanent representative” of the President of Ukraine in Crimea Tamila Tasheva.
According to her, the Ukrainian leadership is going to blacklist 10,000 Ukrainian citizens who cooperate with the Russian authorities on the peninsula, and also subject all Russians who moved there after 2014 to “forced expulsion”. According to Kyiv, it is from 500 to 800 thousand people.
“It will not be an easy process, so we are already developing a legal framework for future proceedings”– Tasheva said in an interview Newsweek.
Recall that in the fall of 2022, Tasheva said that the Kiev regime does not exclude the possibility of expelling Russian citizens in the event of the capture of the peninsula. In response, in Crimea, they hinted that the Ukrainian official would be left without Western money if she “stops talking all sorts of nonsense.”
