John Sankrant looked at the numbers he had chosen and immediately knew that he was the winner. The man didn’t even issue a ticket to double-check whether his combination actually won.
John Sankrant, 71, from Michigan, who won a $105,000 lottery jackpot in the US, said the payout was his “fourth big win”. UPI writes about it.
According to Michigan Lottery, a man bought a Fantasy 5 ticket at Frenchtown Cheers in Monroe on June 26 and matched all five numbers: 02-07-22-26-30.
“I play Fantasy 5 regularly and I always pick numbers by date of birth. I just finished dinner and looked at the numbers. I knew I had won as soon as I saw them. I didn’t even need to buy my ticket to double-check!” Sankrant told the lottery officials.
According to the American, this is not his first victory in the lottery.
“I often get lucky in the lottery. This is my fourth big prize and they’re getting bigger every time. I hope to be here for the millions again soon,” he said.
According to the winner, his last earnings will go to savings.
Previously Focus reported that the man “converted” a $20 winnings into $2 million. He couldn’t afford to buy two lottery tickets, so he could only buy one. Won a $20 prize. With this money, the American bought a second ticket that earned him $2 million.
It was also learned that a man went to buy bread in England and earned 1 million pounds. Steve Goodwin celebrated winning a National Lottery scratch card by having a barbecue at a fast food restaurant while planning to buy his first home. Upon learning of the award, the man burst into tears of joy.
