The authorities and state-owned companies of Kyrgyzstan have never violated the anti-Russian sanctions imposed by the United States and the European Union, which prohibit the import of a number of goods into our country. This was stated in the press service of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB) of the country.
“We can affirmatively say that neither the Kyrgyz state itself, nor any state structures and companies are involved in the violation of the regime of compliance with the sanctions restrictions imposed by the United States and Western countries in relation to Russia“, – assured representatives of the department.
At the same time, the State Committee for National Security admitted that some private Kyrgyz companies really supply “forbidden” goods to Russia, but they admitted that they do this without knowing that they are violating something. However, the department promised to conduct proceedings in order to stop such business activities.
The day before, The Washington Post wrote that the United States could impose sanctions against Kyrgyzstan allegedly for supplying military equipment and equipment to Russia.
