Musk: Posts on Twitter will be called “x” after rebranding

Publications on Twitter will be called “X”, not “tweets” after renaming the social network to X. This was announced by the owner of the company Elon Musk.

The American entrepreneur also explained that he acquired Twitter to ensure freedom of speech. His main goal was to create an “application for everything”, which he decided to call X.

“The name Twitter made sense when it was just short messages like birds chirping, but now you can post just about anything, including hours of videos.“, – Musk wrote on his official page in the social network.

According to him, soon the application will even have the ability to “keep all the finances at hand.”

Elon Musk announced the Twitter logo change on July 23. The businessman specified that it would be an X on a black background.
