Republicans demanded that Biden stop funding Ukraine

Representatives of the US Republican Party demanded that President Joe Biden withdraw the request for additional funds to support Ukraine. About it reported Rep. Warren Davidson on X (formerly Twitter).

“Americans are tired of funding endless proxy wars. Today, my colleagues and I sent a letter demanding President Biden withdraw the latest aid package until Congress provides a comprehensive strategy and mission to engage in Ukraine.”he wrote.

Biden’s request to Congress speaks of $40 billion, of which $24 billion is planned to be sent to Ukraine. According to Davidson, agreeing to these funds would exacerbate the administration’s runaway spending and violate the bipartisan debt ceiling agreement.

Davidson was supported by 11 representatives of his party.
