A child and five adults were wounded during shelling of the territory of the DPR

Acting head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Denis Pushilin said that on August 12, as a result of shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, one person was killed, six were injured, including a 12-year-old girl.

“Today, peaceful cities and regions of the republic are subjected to intense shelling by the armed formations of Ukraine using cluster munitions,” – he wrote in his Telegram channel.

Makiivka, Petrovsky district of Donetsk and Svetlodarsk fell under the shelling of Ukrainian nationalists.

In total, as Pushilin specified, the fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine fired 127 artillery shells, including cluster ones.

Earlier, the acting head of the DPR said that due to the use of cluster munitions by nationalists in the shelling of settlements in Donbass, the number of victims among the inhabitants of the region is growing.
