In Ukraine, product manufacturers PepsiCo and Mars were included in the list of “international sponsors of the war” because of their partnership with the Russian side. This was stated in the Ukrainian National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (NAPC).

“NAPC has included two leading food corporations PepsiCo and Mars in the list of international sponsors of the war”the statement says.

The report says that these companies continue to operate in Russia, pay taxes, and “are actively looking for new employees in the Russian Federation.” At the same time, earlier PepsiCo reported that the corporation was suspending its activities in Russia.

Earlier it was reported that the prosecutor’s office of the Moscow region is checking Mars for funding of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

PepsiCo is a manufacturer of such food products as Lay’s chips, Mirinda, Pepsi and 7up carbonated drinks, Agusha baby food, Chudo yogurts, etc.

Mars makes Mars, Snickers, Milky Way, Twix and Bounty chocolate bars, as well as Whiskas and Pedigree pet food.
