According to journalists, as of 2019, there were approximately 380,000 members in Yunarmiya. The organization is popular with children from low-income families and children in orphanages.
Russian President Vladimir Putin may send young people from the Yunarmiya organization to war against Ukraine. He writes about the express edition.
According to journalists, historian Ian Garner, an expert on Russian culture and propaganda, said in his book “Generation Z”, which was prepared for publication, that many Russian youth were ready to rush to war. He stated that they frequently post videos of them interacting with weapons on social media.
The publication stated that Yunarmiya was created in 2015 by Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu. The organization teaches children, mostly from disadvantaged families, to use weapons and spreads propaganda among them that pleases the Kremlin. Yunarmiya had approximately 380,000 members as of 2019.
In his book, Garner noted that the Russian Ministry of Defense joined the organization, claiming that it saved children in orphanages from alcoholism and crime.
The European Union is reportedly already recognizing Yunarmiya’s links with the RF Armed Forces. Sanctions were imposed on the organization.
Recall that on September 1, Putin explained to Russian children what “Russia’s invincibility” is. Russian schoolchildren listened to the speech of the head of the Kremlin: they heard stories about his grandfather and about the “invincibility of Russia” in the past and present.
It should also be noted that the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported that after each explosion in the Russian Federation, Putin lost his credibility. According to intelligence spokesman Andrei Yusov, citizens of the Russian Federation should feel what war is. Each explosion indicates that areas of Russia are not particularly protected, as most of the air defense systems are transferred to the occupied areas of Ukraine.
