Los Angeles authorities are looking for suspected serial arsonist after six fires were reported in the Reseda area on Monday night and at least 12 incidents in recent days.
Elements Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) At approximately 12:30 p.m., they responded to the area of Vanowen Street and Reseda Boulevard after reports of multiple trash and pickup truck fires, LAFD Battalion Chief Thomas Gikas said.
When they arrived at the place, Firefighters managed to put out all the fires, and no injuries were reported..
Apparently The first debris fire was reported shortly after 11 p.m.and other incidents occurred over the next two hours.
“I think there have been about 12 debris fires in this area over the last three nights,” said the LAFD battalion chief.
Authorities said most reports involved fires in alleys and garbage dumps, although A cargo van with vegetation at the bottom was also reported to have caught fire..
When firefighters extinguished the flames, they found extensive damage to the car’s rear window and a pile of burnt branches.
Authorities said they were reviewing videos of a person of interest is seen leaving the area on a bicycle.
LAPD officers searched the area and received statements from neighbors and witnesses.
No additional details were provided about these incidents in the Reseda area.
