The Soyuz MS-23 spacecraft carrying Prokopyev, Petelin and Rubio landed in Kazakhstan

The Soyuz MS-23 descent module with cosmonauts Sergei Prokopyev, Dmitry Petelin and NASA astronaut Frank Rubio on board landed in Kazakhstan. Broadcast leads Roscosmos.

The astronauts and astronaut returned to Earth, completing a year-long mission to the ISS. The device landed southeast of the city of Zhezkazgan, after which rescuers headed towards it.

They will help Prokopyev, Petelin and Rubio get out, after which the cosmonauts and astronaut will undergo a medical examination.

Prokopyev, Petelin and Rubio arrived at the ISS in September 2022 on the Soyuz MS-22 spacecraft. During this time, 19 orbit corrections took place, Russian cosmonauts performed six spacewalks.

On September 27, Soyuz MS-23 undocked from the Prichal module of the Russian segment of the ISS after the appropriate command and began to move away from the station for further deorbit and return to Earth.
