A suspect in the murder of rapper Tupac Shakur was detained in Las Vegas.

Las Vegas police have detained a suspect in the 1996 murder of rapper Tupac Shakur, the agency reports. Associated Press.

According to the agency, in July, special forces raided the home of 60-year-old Dwayne Keith Davis, known as Keefy D. He said he was one of two remaining witnesses to the shooting at the car in which Tupac was sitting.

As he writes Telegram channel Mash, Davis’ house was searched and magazines dedicated to the rapper and his death were found. Hard drives and photographs were also found that may show people linked to the murder.

On September 7, 1996, American rapper 2pac (real name Tupac Amaru Shakur) was shot and killed in a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas. Shakur was 25 years old when he was killed.

Another incident was previously reported: a murder 20 years ago was solved in St. Petersburg.
