Palestinian Health Ministry reports 4,385 casualties from Israeli strikes

The death toll from Israeli bombing of the Gaza Strip for almost two weeks has reached 4,385 people, the Palestinian Health Ministry’s office in the Gaza Strip reported on Saturday, October 21.

“The total number of deaths from Israeli aggression since October 7 has reached 4,385 people, of which 1,756 are children and 967 women.”,” follows from the message.

The department clarified that 13,561 people were injured, and in total, members of 550 families in Gaza became victims of IDF strikes.

Earlier it became known that the Rafah checkpoint on the border of the Gaza Strip and Egypt was closed after 20 trucks carrying humanitarian aid entered the Palestinian enclave. According to the Egyptian Red Crescent, trucks carrying medical supplies and food crossed the checkpoint, and the cargo was handed over to the Palestinian Red Crescent.
